PowerShell module with commands for discovering, installing, updating and publishing the PowerShell artifacts like Modules, DSC Resources, Role Capabilities and Scripts.
Minimum PowerShell version
I have couple of scripts that run with Powershell ISE on our windows servers, we have decided to make a MAC to be the server, so I want to run scripts on the MAC. The reason I wrote it in Powershell ISE it because I wanted to make it easier for my team to run the script just by double tap - insert something and the script run with the parameter. I am trying for many days now to get things done with PowerShell on a Mac. Installation of HomeBrew and PowerShell (7) is not a problem. I can also add modules, e.g. To work with Teams.
3.0
Install PowerShell Core on macOS ^. My first attempt to install PowerShell Core appeared to fail. Like with the alpha version, I just downloaded the PKG package because it is the fasted method. Visual Studio Code is free and available on your favorite platform - Linux, macOS, and Windows. Download Visual Studio Code to experience a redefined code editor, optimized for building and debugging modern web and cloud applications.
